Bill Doman is the Director of New Product Development for Empire Electronics. In his role, he is responsible for all new product development in the areas of automotive lighting components, including technological advancements in LED (light-emitting diodes). He also oversees electrical distribution systems development, including product design and engineering, and industrial engineering in the company´s production facility in San Pedro Sulas, Honduras.
Doman joined the company in March 1997 and previously has held the positions of Chief Engineer, engineering manager and program engineering manager. Before joining Empire Electronics, Doman, served in a number of engineering assignments with Ford Motor Company and the Chrysler Corporation, where he began his automotive career.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech University and an MBA from the University of Detroit. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Doman resides in Royal Oak, Mich., with his wife, Nancy, and two of their four children.
